Books and folders

Give each book a cover and its own paper. Sort, search, archive, and keep folders one level deep. Deleted books wait in the Trash for 30 days.

Pens that feel right

A steady pen, a pressure pen, a textured pencil and a highlighter. Save your favorite pens with their own color and width.

Paper to choose

Blank, ruled, squared, dotted or Cornell paper, in white or cream, A4 or Letter, portrait or landscape. Change it per page.

Zoom writing

Write large in a magnified area while small, neat lines appear on the page. It moves along the line as you go.

Select and shapes

Lasso handwriting to move, resize, rotate or recolor it. Draw clean lines, rectangles, ellipses and triangles.

Stickers

Place stickers from the built-in catalog or your own photos, then arrange them with your ink.

Undo across the book

Undo and redo follow your changes through the whole book, whichever page you are looking at.

PDF and backups

Export pages or a whole book as a PDF. An editable backup keeps strokes, scans and paper, ready to import again.

English and German, light and dark appearance, large text up to 200 % and full keyboard and screen reader labels.

Books you can tell apart

Covers come in calm colors with a spine, so you find a book at a glance. Reopening a book takes you back to the page you left.

Study tape

Cover the answer. Test yourself.

Lay tape over your own notes, then tap a strip in study mode to check what is underneath. Reveals reset when you close the book.

  • A PDF can keep the tape on, or show the answers.
  • Tape is a study aid, not a way to hide private content.

Scanning

Paper belongs in the book, too

Scan a handout or bring in a photo. NoteLama finds the edges, straightens the page and adds it to your book, ready for notes on top.

  • Move any corner by hand, rotate, or choose color or grayscale.
  • The scan stays as it was; your ink lies on top and can be erased.

03 / Storage

Saved on this device first. Your cloud, if you want one.

Every finished stroke is saved on the device within a moment. Sync is optional and uses storage you already have. There is no NoteLama account and no NoteLama server.

Writing never waits for the network. If saving fails, NoteLama says so and keeps your work until it can save.

iCloud on Apple devices, Google Drive on Android, Nextcloud on both. You sign in to your provider, never to us.

When two devices changed the same book, both versions are kept for you to compare. No analytics, no tracking.
